Logo graphicWhen life is affected by stress or other worries, by a physical condition which seems intractable, or by a troublesome behavioural problem, hypnotherapy can help. Working with an experienced hypnotherapist in a quiet, comfortable and confidential setting can soon change things for the better. Hypnosis can help.

Hypnotherapy has been called “the nearest approach to the ideal treatment” yet developed. Among many reasons for saying that are:

  • Hypnotherapy produces a deeply relaxed state which can boost self confidence, relieve anxiety, reduce exam nerves, conquer phobias, break unwanted habits and counter many other psychological symptoms
  • Hypnotherapy can also help with numerous physical symptoms which have a psychological component, including pain, sleep disorders, skin conditions and weight or digestive problems
  • Hypnotherapy is as natural as breathing - no drugs, injections or invasive procedures. And it is relatively brief, minimising issues of time and expense
  • Hypnotherapy gives you total assurance of safety because you are in control, not the therapist

Although probably one of the oldest of all healing methods, hypnotherapy is still widely used because it is remarkably effective and totally safe.

It uses individualised techniques to draw you towards happier ways and help you make positive, healthful changes.

Hypnotherapy makes use of your own resources and abilities to bring about the changes you require; you do not have to fit into any standard pattern. And you will learn to hypnotise yourself for your own benefit.

By the way: there are no swinging pendulums or spooky gimmicks. The only tool of my trade is the sound of my voice.

I qualified as a clinical hypnotherapist after training at the London College of Clinical Hypnosis and passing its Certificate and Diploma examinations independently accredited by the University of Greenwich. I am a fully insured associate member of the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis, which governs the profession's Code of Practice, ensuring the highest ethical standards.

Photograph of David Loshak" I believe that in hypnotherapy, the therapy is at least as important as the hypno and, besides the hypnotism, must also have advisory, informative, educational and pastoral dimensions. The therapist needs knowledge and experience of the world to provide these and to bring full empathy to his or her unconditional regard and respect for every patient. In that spirit, I do not make unrealistic claims. I do not guarantee a ‘cure' - no therapy can. Likewise, I do not boast about ‘success rates'. These can seldom be properly substantiated. What I do offer is my assurance that I act ethically, confidentially competently and professionally."
