Course director (SW) and senior lecturer for the London College of Clinical Hypnosis. International lecturer and trainer on Trauma and PTSD. Honorary Fellow and SSU lecturer at Peninsula Medical School, Universities of Exeter and Plymouth. I am a Psychologist, Family Counsellor, Clinical Hypnotherapist and group facilitator with over 25 years of professional experience in the therapeutic field. I also trained in EMDR and stress management and apprenticed to various indigenous teachers and incorporate, when appropriate, these indigenous / spiritual healing practices within my therapeutic work. My approach to therapy is client centred, eclectic and holistic. |
Although I now mainly lecture and train internationally, my partner and I have a busy private practice in Devon.
1. I work with women presenting with deep emotional and mental issues, mainly arising from trauma such as PTSD, anxiety disorders, panic disorders, self-sabotage, low self-esteem issues, self-harm, as I worked for many years therapeutically with survivors of childhood abuse. 2. I coach clients to enhance performance, to set and achieve goals and to maximise their potential. 3. I utilise more spiritual altered state approaches such as past life regression, ceremony, shamanic journeying and soul retrieval to help clients to re-connect with deeper and higher levels of themselves to heal, aid development and enhance their lives.
