Rumi qualified as a medical doctor in 1992 and since then she has done postgraduate training and research in Neuroscience related to Psychiatry and in Hypnotherapy. She is an external examiner for the medical and non-medical postgraduate LCCH courses and the organising secretary of the British Association of Medical Hypnosis.
In her work as a medical hypnotherapist she successfully treats people who have stress and anxiety problems, panic attacks, phobias, sleep disturbances, high blood pressure, irritable bowel syndrome, gastritis, ulcers, premenstrual tension, chronic pain, headache, skin problems and asthma. She also helps people who would like to stop smoking, lose weight, eliminate unwanted habits or enjoy the benefit of having a painless childbirth. Dr Peynovska has a special
interest in the application of hypnotherapy in the treatment of cancer
sufferers.
